Background

Our client’s executive management was looking to actively promote overseas business development (mainly in ASEAN countries). To do this, they needed someone that was not only a capable manager, but could successfully launch and manage overseas subsidiaries. So we set our sights on skilled foreign nationals.

Who was chosen

We introduced a foreign national from Hong Kong who was in charge of sourcing and execution at a domestic M&A firm. While his native language was mandarin, he also possessed excellent business level communication skills in English and Japanese.
